Behind the scenes

More help is required, both backstage and front of house.

Anyone who would like to learn basic stagecraft, stage dressing, designing, painting etc should contact Colin and come and help with the Showboat Concert. This will be a great introduction into the interesting and important work that goes on behind the scenes.

We also urgently require help in the wardrobe dept. Two of our ladies are retiring soon and we would like to not only replace them, but increase our numbers in this dept. Costumes are an intregal part of any show and we are, justly, proud of our wardrobe ladies who work tirelessly every year to ensure we look great on stage!

Maybe you feel you have nothing special to offer but would still love to be involved? Why not help out at rehearsals making tea etc? Or selling programmes/raffle tickets/sweets at performances. Or maybe you are good at communicating, why not join our committees and help keep the cogs turning?

There are 1001 things you can do to help. Come down and show us what you can do.

One thing is certain, whatever you do will be most appreciated and you will have fun and meet new friends at the same time!

Anyone who has experience with stage make-up would be made very welcome!
